cordially invites you to the 2020 Annual Meeting of the Membership

COVID will not stop us! We’re offering you the opportunity to attend this meeting either virtually (via Zoom) or on-site at Fort Mose Historic State Park (with required safety precautions.)

Fort Mose Historical Society Annual Meeting of the Membership
6:00 – 7:30 pm
Via Zoom, or On-site at Fort Mose Historic State Park

Our Agenda will include:

  • An update on Society projects, including our ‘Fortress of Freedom’ construction campaign
  • Business: Annual reports; Park updates; Election of Board of Directors; By-law revisions; and any other business that may come before the Society
  • Arts and Media Presentations: ‘The Golden Flames’ and ‘Flight to Freedom’
  • Distinguished Keynote Speaker: Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr., Civil Rights icon and President, National Newspaper Publishers Association (virtual appearance)

Our on-site gathering will include light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. Masks and social distancing are required.
